Our Father which art in heaven,

[The Creator of the universe cares for his people--He protects and provides for us! Thank you, LORD.]

Hallowed be Thy name.

[There is no one else who can be compared to you. Help me remember that today.]

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

[Too many of my prayers start with what I want. Teach me to value my will less and yours much more.]

Give us this day our daily bread.

[I need your supernatural help to get through this day, and so do all my neighbors. Help us to remember that.]

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

[Your forgiveness is my greatest daily need, and you grant it for the asking. May I be just as generous with anyone who needs my forgiveness!]

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

[The evil one is real and he's gunning for each of us today. Unless your power fills and surrounds me I will fail you. In your mercy, strengthen your people.]

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

[It's all about you, LORD. May we all remember that.]
